Our Directors

Julie Greaves

Hello, my name is Julie Greaves and I am so proud to be the Director at Coppell Child Development Center.  I took over this job after teaching at CCDC for two years in the 4 and 5 year old programs.  Before that I taught elementary school K-4 for 16 years.  I am certified K-8 both in the classroom, with reading specialization, and in physical education.    After teaching 3rd and 4th grade for 12 years, I decided that I would add Early Childhood as a certification to my credentials.   While teaching kindergarten, I was approached to join the CCDC family.  It has been the best career move for me!  Not only did it allow flexibility to be more a part of my son’s extracurricular activities but encouraged me to further my educational growth by teaching teachers.  I now have TAC 746.1015 Director qualifications for licensed child care centers and have been awarded the Child Care Administrator’s Credential.  I continue to stay current with new innovations in early childhood education through annual training.  My most recent trainings have included attending: Blueprint for Success for Child Care Managers, Texas Child Care Association Annual Conference and National Child Care Association Leadership Conference.

I have been married to my husband, Ken, for 23 years and we have a son, Kenny (22) who is attending The University of Texas, studying Architectural Engineering and competes as a decathlete.  In my free time I enjoy shopping, traveling and attending most any sporting event.

As your Director, my goal is to provide a safe and happy environment for each child that will stimulate physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth at each child’s individual pace. For this to be successful, I must hire compassionate, trained and high caliber teachers,  monitor classrooms and lesson plans daily, set schedules, keep parents informed, and provide training opportunities for the educational growth of teachers.   I also ensure that our school is in full compliance with all licensing and safety regulations according to Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

I encourage you to stop by anytime for a visit so that we can get to know each other, and I can help you feel that CCDC IS the best place for your child.!

Lisa Crane

My name is Lisa Crane and this is my eighth year to work for CCDC. I live in Flower
Mound and have been married ten years to my husband Kyle. We have one son, Conner,
who is in the second grade. My husband and I enjoy DIY projects together and outdoor
adventures with our little guy.

I am a graduate of Texas Woman's University, with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.
After a short career in cardiac rehabilitation, I decided to follow my passionfor working
with children. I worked as a program director of a gym for young children prior to
CCDC. Within this environment, I was able to learn many skills that would later help me
in my job as a part of the management team here at CCDC. MDO and Fun and Fitness
were among my first positions and it was during this time that I came to value what
Coppell Child Development Center stands for.

As the Assistant Director, I am genuinely committed to the students, parents, and faculty
alike. Our success is linked to staying connected and striving to build the best foundation
for our children. I am honored to fulfill this role each day and to serve our loving CCDC
families.
