This Week In the Classroom: Theme: Review

This week in the classroom students will review their letters, sounds, sight words and numbers through hands on activities, fine motor practice, writing lessons and singing. We will do a float and sink experiment in science.

Snack: Bunker's Snack Week -please send in enough snack, drink, napkins and plates for 10 students. There are peanut and all tree nut allergies in our classroom. Please consider checking the labels for nuts in the ingredients and for the facility where they were manufactured for traces of peanut/nut contact.

Special Thanks To: My moms for joining us for our Mother's Day Tea.

Sawyer for his yummy snacks of chocolate chip cookie cake, fruit strips, crackers and water.

Hello and welcome to Coppell Child Development Center!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you and your child to my classroom! I hope you transition into the 4 year old class with your child will be a pleasant one. I am so excited for the opportunity to have your child in my classroom this school year.

I am Kim Fullwood and this is my 7th year teaching, and I am just as anxious as you are! My years teaching are split between third grade, first grade and in the preschool teaching 3 and 4 year olds. These past two years I've taught the 4 year old class here at CCDC and in 2005 I taught the 3 year olds at CCDC too. I have also taught in Lewisville ISD and Dallas ISD.

I am so excited for a new school year

with you and your child at CCDC.

On a personal note, I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I married my high school sweetheart and we will celebrate our 15th anniversary this December. We have three girls. Elizabeth, 9, and Lauren, 6, will be attending Wilson Elementary here in Coppell. Caroline, 3, will be attending CCDC. All three of my girls went through the programs at CCDC so I have had the opportunity to be a parent to a child attending CCDC for the past 9 years and have 2 more years to go before my youngest graduates from their program. I enjoy reading, traveling, going to the movies and visiting with family and friends. I look forward to a successful learning year together.
