3's Teacher: Debbie Eckley

Hello To My 3 Year Old Students and Their Parents!

My name is Debbie Eckley and as most of you know, you may call me Ms. Debbie. I am looking forward to teaching the 3 year olds this year on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Most of you have seen me around as this will be my 8th year at CCDC where I have had the
pleasure to aide teachers in MDO, 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s classes. I am so excited to be actually teaching this year as I have learned so much in my 7 years observing the great teachers here at CCDC. I am originally from Copley, Ohio, near Akron, but have resided in Coppell for the
last 9 years. I am happily married with two children. Courtney is 14 years old and Zachary, a graduate of CCDC, is now 10 years old. I am kept busy with their activities afterschool.  All of the immediate family still resides in Ohio, where we vacation in the summer for as long as we can and go home at Christmas time as well. I love the beach, reading, walking, and spending time with my family.  I look forward to getting to know your son or daughter while I teach the class. I hope to bring
a love of learning to your children while having lots of fun!

My name is Ms. Mari. I’m bilingual in Spanish and English.  My husband (Larry) of 39 years and I met in Spain. As a result of Larry’s 20 year career in the USAF and subsequent telecommunications career, we have lived in many different countries and states. I have two children, Marbella and Eric. I also have two grandchildren, Mikayela, who is fifteen years old and Trevor, who is ten years old. 

I enjoy alpine skiing with my family every year in Park City,Utah and Summit County, Colorado. I also love to run! Long distant running is my favorite hobby. I love it so much that I’ve run several marathons including Boston, Chicago, Twin Cities, White Rock and several others.

This is my 9th year at CCDC. I am a teacher’s aide for the 3 year olds. I cherish working with children and really love working at CCDC. Thank you for allowing me to care for your children as we look forward to another year of educational fulfillment at CCDC.
